Would you go back to where it all began? Or would you stay here? Would you lay the cards on the table and talk to me? You're such a mistery And she'll fall again And she'll call her friends Her heart can't take it But it will always try again She can't make it stop And they'll break it off It can't get enough The heart it wants what it wants But you will always try again But you will always try again You could never set it right She'll take a piece of you inside And release you when it's time It's all over You could never handle this She'll get with someone else and kiss And you're dying deep inside It's all over And she'll fall again And she'll call her friends Her heart can't take it But it will always try again She can't make it stop And they'll break it off It can't get enough The heart it wants what it wants No one else could break this curse It's been longer than a week now and I'm still dealing with this heartburn No one else could understand We've been on and off for weeks now, and I'm sure we'll never work And she'll fall again And she'll call her friends Her heart can't take it But it will always try again She can't make it stop And they'll break it off It can't get enough The heart it wants what it wants And she'll fall again And she'll call her friends Her heart can't take it But it will always try again She can't make it stop And they'll break it off It can't get enough The heart it wants what it wants

No one should know Leave me here, freezing, I am thinking about The time you said I needed to grow up and how far I've come, well atleast I feel taller The night's we spent fighting Over our favorite show, you argued the fact that you liked season two And we never agreed so I ended up seeing the whole final series with you I don't fear death quite as much as I used to I was breaking up hoping I'd keep it inside I was honestly terrified you'd try to find Some excuse, some way to help, I don't know I was honestly hoping you'd let me go Don't hold your breath Spit it out, say it 'cause you know what comes next I am only here to listen to please make it count, I am only here to talk it all out I don't fear death quite as much as I used to I was breaking up hoping I'd keep it inside I was honestly terrified you'd try to find Some excuse, some way to help, I don't know I was honestly hoping you'd let me go I was breaking up hoping I'd keep it inside I was honestly terrified you'd try to find Some excuse, some way to help, I don't know I was honestly hoping you'd let me go

Superheroes 03:45
Trying to fight back the tears and I tried But all I can do is just wait for the time to fly by This is not how I pictured it would be tonight I know that I've hurt you by keeping the truth Close to my chest but I've done it for you, so don't leave This is not how I pictured it All of us waiting here I'm begging you, I'm begging you All of us waiting here I'm begging you, I'm begging you Please, follow your dreams 'cause there's still some time We'll be superheroes when we close our eyes So don't let go of my hand And follow your dreams to the end I don't want you to mourn, I don't want you to cry 'Cause I've made this choice so now I'm sticking by it I hope you'll forget the pain I'm in, I'm so sorry I am the docks, the sea and the sky I'll breeze through your hair, I'll race through the night And I'll find you, oh I swear that I'll find you All of us waiting here I'm begging you, I'm begging you All of us waiting here I'm begging you, I'm begging you Please, follow your dreams 'cause there's still some time We'll be superheroes when we close our eyes So don't let go of my hand And follow your dreams to the end This is not how I pictured it This is not how I pictured it This is not how I pictured it Please, follow your dreams 'cause there's still some time We'll be superheroes when we close our eyes So don't let go of my hand Don't let go So please, follow your dreams 'cause there's still some time We'll be superheroes when we close our eyes So don't let go of my hand And follow your dreams 'till the end

I don't know, I don't know what to tell you I've heard it a thousand times You're not alone, and we know this hurts But it's only a matter of time Oh no, I don't think I'll ever be Fine You gotta know, you gotta know that I've tried to Get things going again But it's safe to say that I'll feel the same I'll forget the things that you've said to me Oh, But I'll remember everything I'll remember everything, eventually 'Cause we were younger, we were brave We took chances every day Back when the world made no sense Back then we had each other's backs And we'll keep smiling through the pain I'll dry my eyes, you'll do the same We were so close back in the day And I hope you're doing fine without me Woah The night sets in And I can't breathe again No, I can't breathe again There's a cure, there's a cure for this heartache It's right there staring you down You gotta let go and I know this hurts But it's the only way I know how Oh no, you can't let this take you Down After all, after all that we've been through Can we call each other friends? All I know is that I feel alone when the night sets in and I can't breathe again 'Cause we were younger, we were brave We took chances every day Back when the world made no sense Back then we had each other's backs And we'll keep smiling through the pain I'll dry my eyes, you'll do the same We were so close back in the day And I hope you're doing fine without me Woah The night sets in And I can't breathe again No, I can't breathe again Woah The night sets in And I can't breathe again And we stood up early every schoolday The tv on channel five We watched our heroes save the day And had the best time of our lives And you'd turn right back to me And said someday that will be us I don't want you to leave One more minute's enough We stood up early every schoolday The tv on channel five We watched our heroes save the day And had the best time of our lives And you'd turn right back to me And said someday that will be us I don't want you to leave 'Cause we were younger, we were brave We took chances every day Back when the world made no sense Back then we had each other's backs And we'll keep smiling through the pain I'll dry my eyes, you'll do the same We were so close back in the day And I hope you're doing fine And now we're sad, we were in love We did our best, but they took it all Right now the world makes no sense But I guess we should have seen it coming But we'll keep smiling through the pain I'll dry my eyes, you'll do the same You were my friend and I'll miss you so But I know You're doing fine without me Woah But when the night sets in I just can't breathe again No, I can't breathe again

Awake 03:07
Hardly hearing, these ears have frozen over It's been great to get to know her, I've been blessed with friends like you And all through the evening the lights keep flickering They are trying to get a point across, but I just can't take the hint Don't make me smile for another picture again I am falling apart on the inside and yet My heart isn't ready to let go just yet I hold on, I'll hold on until my last breath So don't look at me now, this is not who I am I am not where I wanna be Abandoned streetrat, just a lone aristocrat I am longing to lower these eyelids for some rest The wind through the windows, dying embers, lonely ghosts They are dining at the table I've been dying to host Don't make me smile for another picture again I am falling apart on the inside and yet My heart isn't ready to let go just yet I hold on, I'll hold on until my last breath So don't look at me now, this is not who I am I am not where I wanna be So you'll remember a smile, that is all that I want That is more than enough for me You thought that I would leave But I am staying here I am staying here You thought that I would leave But I am staying here I am staying here You thought that I would leave But I am staying here You thought that I would leave But I am staying here So don't look at me now, this is not who I am I am not where I wanna be

about

'Dreamers' is a bright but melancholic indie rock record that was written for the feature film of the same name by pop punk band Bounds Of Modesty, from the heart of Amsterdam. Chronicling the story of the film, this 5-track EP tells the story of five friends chasing their life-long dreams, and the hurdles along the way. To accommodate for the distinct indie-feel of the cinematics, the band decided to coat their signature modern pop punk sound with hints of folk rock. Every song on 'Dreamers' has its own unique signature instrument at the center, like banjo, harmonium and ukelele for example. Ultimately, this is the first chapter of a rich and vibrant story. This is a record about love, life goals and letting go.
